Handshake.AI is a small team building the open Handshake Protocol and the SaaS that runs on top of it. We sit at the intersection of identity infrastructure, applied cryptography, and developer tooling for regulated environments.
Handshake.AI is the company building the Handshake Protocol. An open-core SaaS team with a standards-track substrate. Same shape as Auth0 on OAuth, Stripe on payment rails, HashiCorp on Terraform.
The protocol is MIT-licensed and CC BY 4.0. We sell hosted Registry and enterprise Console on top, plus self-hosted SKUs for sovereign deployments. Pricing is locked at zero through GA for design partners and shared once we have an introduction - apply to be a design partner.
v0.x of the spec is owned by us, edited in the open with design partners. The path to v1.0 runs through a Working Group convened with implementers (SDK authors, Registry operators, enterprise adopters) and an eventual IETF submission. Materials for that group and the Implementation Guide are available to participants under NDA; the public spec and conformance vectors stay open.
